13th Annual Holiday Swing Brings Festive Cheer to Kansas City

Winter festivities have arrived in Kansas City, Missouri, with the 13th annual Holiday Swing, an event that combines ice skating, food, and fun for the entire family. This year, the event received a sprinkle of snow, setting the perfect atmosphere for the holiday season.

Unique Handmade Gifts and Local Artisans

The Holiday Swing is an excellent opportunity for shoppers to support small businesses and purchase unique, handmade gifts. More than 80 Kansas City makers and artisans set up their stalls outside Crown Center, near the ice rink and beneath the glow of the mayor’s Christmas tree.

A Kansas City Tradition

For many locals, the Holiday Swing has become a beloved Kansas City tradition. This year’s snowfall added a touch of magic to the event, with Holiday Swing planner Katie Mabry describing it as a “real-life Hallmark movie.” The festive atmosphere includes an ice-skating rink, cocoa, and campfires, making it a perfect Christmas market experience.

Event Details and Dates

The Holiday Swing runs every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through December 17th, with a selection of new vendors featured every weekend. Visitors can enjoy a range of festive activities, shop for one-of-a-kind gifts, and support local businesses during this special time of year. For more information, visit the Fox4KC website.
