Carpinteria City Council Recognizes Outgoing Santa Barbara Association of Realtors President Todd Shea

On Monday, the Carpinteria City Council acknowledged the outgoing president of the Santa Barbara Association of Realtors, Todd Shea, for his efforts in organizing events, fundraisers, and philanthropic donations.

A City Proclamation to Honor Todd Shea

A city proclamation expressed gratitude to Shea for his active role in the Carpinteria community. His contributions included supporting the Santa Barbara Association of Realtors Young Professionals Network, serving as a director for the California Association of Realtors, and coaching the Junior Varsity Girls Volleyball team at Dos Pueblos High School.

Mayor Al Clark read aloud from the proclamation, stating, “Now, therefore, be it resolved, that the city council of the city of Carpinteria offers a deep appreciation for President Todd Shea’s ability to exhibit strong leadership and strength in character in service to his community and the membership of the Santa Barbara Association of Realtors for the year of 2023.”

Todd Shea Reflects on His Experience as President

Shea spoke to the council about his experience serving as the president of the association, expressing that it has been an honor. “Giving back to our community and protecting personal property rights, it’s been my pleasure and honor to do that this year and again thank you so much for the recognition, the award,” Shea said on Monday.
