Gainesville Real Estate Community Mourns Loss of Colleague in Tragic Accident

The Gainesville, Florida real estate community is mourning the loss of prominent realtor Craig McCall, who was tragically killed in a car accident while traveling from Gainesville to Tennessee. McCall’s son, Zac, is currently in critical condition following the accident.

A Respected Realtor and Community Member

Craig McCall was a well-known realtor in Gainesville for nearly 20 years and held positions as a realtor in the Gainesville Alachua County Association of Realtors and as President of Florida Realtors in 2009. Colleagues and friends remember him as a staple in the community and express their sorrow at his untimely passing.

Tributes from Fellow Realtors

Joyce Dorval, Broker Associate and successor to McCall as President of Florida Realtors in 2010, fondly remembers her colleague: “He was such a gentleman. He was soft-spoken and driven. Just a perfect gentleman at all times. He’d tell my husband, ‘don’t worry when we’re traveling I’ll make sure she’s okay.’ You know he was that kind of a friend, he was looking out for me every time we traveled.”

Updates on McCall’s Son

Craig McCall’s son, Zac, remains in the hospital with serious injuries sustained during the accident. Further updates on his condition will be provided as they become available.

The Gainesville real estate community will undoubtedly feel the impact of Craig McCall’s passing, and his contributions to the industry and his community will not be forgotten. Our thoughts are with the McCall family during this difficult time.
