Lake Geneva’s Stoney Hollow Estate Sold for $9.6 Million

A Sought-After Location for Luxury Buyers

Lake Geneva has long been a magnet for affluent buyers, with its beautiful scenery and lavish homes. The area has seen an increase in luxury sales this year, surpassing even the prestigious North Shore of suburban Chicago. In fact, the most expensive transaction in the North Shore this year was a $12.5 million estate purchased by RxBar co-founder Jared Smith and his wife, Gabriella.

Stoney Hollow: A Glimpse of the Property

The 3-acre gated estate was previously owned by Nick and Kimberly Calamos, who purchased it for $7.2 million in 2017. The property boasts 128 feet of Lake Geneva shoreline, a two-slip pier, boathouse, and guest house. With a stone and timber Tudor exterior, Stoney Hollow features a large great room, eight fireplaces, a newly added screened-in porch, and a heated driveway. David Curry of Geneva Lakefront Realty represented the sellers in this transaction.

Why Lake Geneva is So Appealing

Located in southern Wisconsin, Lake Geneva is an attractive destination for those seeking a luxurious getaway. With its stunning scenery, lavish homes, and easy access to Chicago, it’s no wonder the area has seen such impressive sales in recent years. As more buyers are drawn to the beautiful homes and picturesque setting, it’s likely that Lake Geneva will continue to be a hot spot for luxury real estate.
