Expanding from Kansas City to Overland Park

After successfully opening a location in Kansas City in 2020, Atomic Cowboy is now bringing its unique concept to downtown Overland Park. With its laid-back vibe and delicious food, it’s sure to become a local favorite.

One cool feature of Atomic Cowboy is its walk-up “slice window,” where you can order and eat pizza outside. Just keep in mind that it might be best to wait for warmer weather to enjoy this option!

Popular Menu Items and Outdoor Seating

Some popular breakfast items at Atomic Cowboy include biscuits and gravy and the “Lola” – a fried chicken and bacon biscuit sandwich drizzled in maple syrup. Yum! And if you prefer dining al fresco, there’s an outdoor patio that can seat dozens of patrons. Just remember to dress appropriately for the weather!

The Story Behind Atomic Cowboy

Atomic Cowboy started in Denver 20 years ago as a bar. Four years later, founder Drew Shader added Fat Sully’s Pizza to the mix. Eventually, his separate “biscuit bus” concept also found its way into the bar. Today, Atomic Cowboy has nine locations, with seven in Colorado and two in Kansas City and Overland Park.

For now, the Overland Park location will be open from 8 a.m. until midnight. However, Shader mentioned that they might extend the hours in the future. So, if you’re looking to buy a home near a fantastic dining spot, Atomic Cowboy in Overland Park might be just the place for you!
