Ocean City Board of Realtors Hosts Winter Food Drive
The Ocean City Board of Realtors (OCBOR) has kicked off its annual winter food drive, “Food Is Love, Share Some Love.” This event helps people in need and benefits shelter animals at the Humane Society of Ocean City (HSOC). For the second consecutive year, OCBOR has expanded the drive to include donations for HSOC. Donations are being collected through the board’s community services project until Feb. 29.
Helping People in Need
The “Food Is Love, Share Some Love” winter food drive aims to provide essential items for people in need. With the winter season in full swing, many families face increased expenses for heating and other necessities. The food drive offers a way for the community to come together and help those who are struggling during this time of year.
OCBOR is collecting non-perishable food items, such as canned goods, pasta, rice, and cereal. These donations will be distributed to local food banks and pantries, ensuring that families in need have access to nutritious meals.
Benefiting Shelter Animals
In addition to helping people, the winter food drive also benefits shelter animals at the Humane Society of Ocean City. HSOC is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for homeless animals. The shelter offers adoption services, veterinary care, and educational programs to promote responsible pet ownership.

The OCBOR’s community services project is collecting donations now through Feb. 29. To participate in the “Food Is Love, Share Some Love” winter food drive, simply drop off your donations at any of the designated collection points. These include the Ocean City Board of Realtors office and participating real estate agencies throughout Ocean City.
