Christie Fernquest and Sara Sharkey – REALTORS® of the Year
This award honors REALTORS® who have gone above and beyond in their membership. This year, two recipients received the REALTOR® of the Year award. With a combined 40 years of real estate experience, Christie and Sara worked relentlessly to restructure two Associations. As Co-Presidents, they served on all 12 Association committees to ensure the best aspects of each previous association were incorporated into one Sierra Nevada REALTORS®. Furthermore, they continued to promote the value of working with a REALTOR®, provide insight into the real estate market, and manage their businesses. United, Christie and Sara elevated Sierra Nevada REALTORS® to new heights.
Jorge Montoya – Affiliate of the Year
This award recognizes an Affiliate Member for their dedication, passion, and commitment to the REALTOR® community and their hometown. Jorge Montoya earned this award for his contributions to Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Action through the IDEA Committee and his eagerness to answer the call.
