New NAR Leadership Team: Overcoming Challenges and Driving the Future of Real Estate

National Association of Realtors Announces 2024 Leadership Team

Tracy Kasper was named 2024 president of the National Association of Realtors® during the organization’s 2023 NAR NXT The Realtor Experience in Anaheim, California. Kasper stepped into the role of president in August after Kenny Parcell resigned in the wake of reports of sexual harassment. This month, NAR named Nykia Wright its interim CEO, replacing the retiring Bob Goldberg.

Meet the New President: Tracy Kasper

Kasper, a Realtor® from Nampa, Idaho, is broker-owner of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Silverhawk Realty. She has served on NAR’s board of directors since 2016.

2024 President-Elect: Kevin Sears

Kevin Sears, a Realtor® from Springfield, Mass., is NAR’s 2024 president-elect. Sears specializes in single-family brokerage and property management. He was NAR’s vice president of government affairs in 2017 and president of the Massachusetts Association of Realtors® in 2010. In 2011, Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick appointed Sears as chairman of the board of the state’s real estate commission, a position he was reappointed to in 2016 by Gov. Charlie Baker.

Other Leadership Positions

Several other Realtors were named to leadership positions for 2024:

• Kevin Brown, from Oakland, Calif., was named NAR’s 2024 first vice president.
• Gregory Hrabcak, from Westerville, Ohio, will be the 2024 treasurer, the second of his two-year term in the role.
• Erik Sain, from West Palm Beach, Fla., is NAR’s 2024 vice president of association affairs.
• Nate Johnson, from St. Louis, Mo., is NAR’s 2024 vice president of advocacy.

The announcement of the 2024 leadership team came during NAR’s annual event in Anaheim, California. As the organization moves forward under new leadership, it will continue to focus on supporting and promoting the interests of its Realtor® members.
