A joint venture between High Street Residential, Trammell Crow Co.‘s residential subsidiary, and Principal Real Estate Investors has recently completed the development of Legacy Square, a 363-unit luxury community in Plano, Texas. This Class A community began construction in 2021 and started delivering its first units in late 2022.
Financing and Development Team
In November 2021, Principal Financial Group provided a $60.3 million construction loan for the project. The development team included Britt Design Group as interior designer, Andres Construction as general contractor, and GFF providing architecture services.
Legacy Square Features and Amenities
Legacy Square consists of 22 buildings spread across 17 acres, with two buildings reserved for amenities. The unit mix includes one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts, ranging from 737 to 2,051 square feet. Common-area amenities include a 2,300-square-foot business center, fitness center, clubhouse, playground, swimming pool, and two conference rooms. Additionally, the community offers more than 900 parking spaces and EV charging stations.
Convenient Location and Nearby Attractions
Located at 2100 Legacy Drive, Legacy Square is just 5 miles from The Montgomery, another community developed by the joint venture that opened last year. Legacy Drive Village shopping mall, which features several dining and retail options, is only 1 mile away, while Carpenter Park Recreation Center and a Walmart Supercenter are within a 3-mile radius.
Trammell Crow’s Other Developments
Earlier this year, Trammel Crow partnered with Daiwa House Industry Co. for the construction of a 209-unit luxury community in Houston. This property is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2025.
