Realtor.com recently announced the promotion of Mausam Bhatt to the position of Chief Product and Technology Officer. In his new role, Bhatt will be responsible for developing and executing innovative product strategies and roadmaps that leverage and optimize the company’s technology infrastructure. Since joining Realtor.com in October 2022 as Chief Product Officer, Bhatt has made significant contributions to the company’s product strategy. He has collaborated with the company’s technology and growth teams to drive a vision for product priorities. Furthermore, he has led the teams responsible for designing, building, and marketing site experiences and tools for renters, buyers, sellers, and real estate professionals.
According to Damian Eales, CEO of Realtor.com, Bhatt has sharpened the company’s customer focus and accelerated the momentum of product launches. He has also worked closely with the technology function, bringing about important innovation and improvements in consumer experience. Additionally, Bhatt has enhanced sell-side products, including RealChoice Selling and most recently, Listing Agent Toolkit.
Mausam Bhatt’s Background and Expertise
Bhatt is a seasoned product executive with a wealth of experience in helping companies scale globally and build market-leading products from the ground up. Prior to joining Realtor.com, he led Google’s commerce initiatives, where his team developed and accelerated transaction growth on the Google Shopping platform. This platform served billions of users and global merchants, ranging from Fortune 500 retailers to micro direct-to-consumer brands.
Before his tenure at Google, Bhatt served as Chief Product Officer for RetailMeNot. In this role, he led teams that diversified the company’s product line from primarily a coupons-only marketplace to a modern offering with cash-back wallet, credit card-linked offers, prescription healthcare savings, and gift cards marketplace.
